What's New in Granite Bay? Restaurants, Shops & Local Openings to Watch in 2026-2027

Granite Bay has been welcoming several new businesses in 2026, bringing fresh dining options, fitness studios, and family-friendly activities to the community.
From a new Champagne lounge on Douglas Boulevard to a Pilates studio and an indoor playground in the works, here's a look at some of the latest additions and upcoming openings around Granite Bay.
Cuvée Club Brings a New Evening Dining Concept to Granite Bay
Location: 6861 Douglas Boulevard
The team behind Mimosa House is bringing something different to Granite Bay with Cuvée Club, a restaurant and Champagne lounge operating in the same space as Mimosa House during the evening.
Led by the Dedier family and Chef Devin Dedier, the concept combines an American diner-inspired menu with an emphasis on Champagne, sparkling wines, cocktails, and scratch-made food.
It's an interesting addition to a community where residents have plenty of daytime dining choices but may welcome another option for dinner or an evening out.
The venue's website currently lists service Wednesday through Sunday, beginning at 4 p.m. Check directly for the latest reservations and operating details.
RockSalt Pilates Arrives at Sierra Oaks Plaza
Location: 4120 Douglas Boulevard, Suite 307
RockSalt Pilates is one of Granite Bay's newest fitness additions.
The family-owned studio offers music-driven workouts combining reformer Pilates, strength training, flexibility, and cardio.
Its three class formats- Stretch, Strength, and Sweat- provide different approaches depending on whether participants want to focus on mobility, strength, or a more energetic workout.
The studio began offering classes in October and has announced a community grand-opening celebration for Thursday, November 12, 2026.
The event is scheduled to include complimentary introductory classes, local community partners, and giveaways. Advance reservations are encouraged because class sizes are limited.
Enchanted Indoor Playground Plans a Granite Bay Location
Planned location: 8665B Auburn Folsom Road
Families with young children may have another indoor activity option to look forward to.
Enchanted Indoor Playground has announced plans to expand into Granite Bay Village Shopping Center, with a proposed space of approximately 16,000 square feet.
The business specializes in imaginative indoor play for younger children, along with birthday parties and family activities.
Its Granite Bay expansion would give local families another option for hot summer days, rainy afternoons, and birthday celebrations without traveling farther into Roseville or Folsom.
An official opening date has not yet been confirmed.
Brew Bird Coffee + Creative Adds a Different Kind of Café Experience
Location: 5550 Douglas Boulevard
Brew Bird Coffee + Creative brings together two activities that don't usually share the same space: enjoying a coffee and painting pottery.
Visitors can select a ceramic piece, decorate it in the café, and return to collect the finished piece after firing.
The concept is particularly appealing for families, casual get-togethers, and anyone looking for something a little different from a traditional coffee shop.
Its Granite Bay location is among the newer additions to the Douglas Boulevard retail corridor.
Sierra Oaks Plaza Continues Its Transformation
Location: Douglas Boulevard and Sierra College Boulevard
The shopping center anchored by Nugget Market has undergone substantial changes over the past couple of years.
Nugget's arrival was part of a broader redevelopment effort intended to refresh the center and create a more appealing shopping destination for the surrounding community.
Another notable addition is Slice House by Tony Gemignani, which opened its Granite Bay location in March 2026.
Together with the center's existing shops, restaurants, and fitness businesses, these additions are making this stretch of Douglas Boulevard an increasingly convenient destination for everyday errands and dining.
What These Changes Mean for Granite Bay Residents
One of the things that makes Granite Bay appealing is its combination of established residential neighborhoods, outdoor recreation, and access to nearby shopping and dining.
New businesses aren't necessarily changing the character of the community, but they are adding more options close to home.
For residents, that can mean having another restaurant for a night out, a new fitness class to try, or a family activity just a short drive away.
And for people considering a move to Granite Bay, these local amenities are part of understanding what everyday life in the community actually looks like.
